THE COMPANY
Luci della Ribalta, or LDR as it is known around the world, started business in 1997, with the aim of providing the theatre lighting market with good quality, well designed and affordable products combined with fast, professional and friendly customer service. Within a short time, LDR had
established itself as a major international supplier of theatrical and architectural spotlights, profiles, floodlights and followspots.
The founders and shareholders, Lisa Papi, Fausto Baietta and Marco Baietta are still as of today actively engaged in the management of the company, personally covering all key positions. This grants the structure a tight control on each process within the company, from sales to R&D, purchases and finance, production and shipping, and at the same time, the great flexibility LDR has gained a reputation for.
At the end of year 2000 LDR moved into new premises at Via Berna 14, 46042 Castel Goffredo, Italy, where the company is still running and since 2008 LDR owns the building and the surrounding area.
LDR products have been chosen for some of the most prestigious installations around the world, including the Oslo Opera House and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, and can be admired on display at major international trade shows.
